In this photograph, Racing President Abraham Lincoln, one of the mascots of the Washington Nationals baseball team, poses with young guests at the White House Easter Egg Roll, which was held on April 22, 2019. Since their debut in 2006, during the fourth inning of Washington Nationals home games, "Abe Lincoln" races against other mascot caricatures of prominent United States presidents, including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt. Other costumed characters present at the 2019 Egg Roll included the PAAS Easter Bunny, classic picture book character the Cat in the Hat, and tennis ball mascots.
